PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Everest Trade Paints - High Build Polyurethane Garage Floor Paint is as the name suggests a single pack hard-wearing, solvent-based floor paint based upon a premium polyurethane resin to ensure great durability and is perfect for use in domestic, and commercial car garages, as well as car showrooms, industrial units and factories. This paint also comes with the option of added silica particles for effective anti-slip properties.
High durability against abrasion and impacts.
Provides a coating with medium-high foot and vehicle traffic wear resistance.
MADE IN ENGLAND WITH PREMIUM RESINS.
Designed to protect, seal and colour concrete, wood and stone internal garage floors. It provides a tough petrol and oil resistant finish with excellent durability. Also ideal for use in garages and on workshop floors.
SUITABLE SUBSTRATES
Can be used on standard concrete, metal and wood as well as most other porous substrates.
Power floated and polished floors must be ground using a floor grinder prior to application of this paint with the primer/sealer.
Not recommended for use on self-levelling floors as they tend to be non-porous.
COLOURS AVAILABLE
Red, Blue, Black, White, Dark Grey, Grey, Light Grey, JCB Yellow and Green.
As well as any British standard or RAL colour for orders of 100 litres and over.

Approximately 5 - 7 square metres per litre, per coat. Coverage rates vary depending on surface area and porosity.
20 Litre tin = Approximately 60 M² with 2 coats.
5 Litre tin = Approximately 15 M² with 2 coats.
DRYING TIME
Under normal circumstances, it should be touch dry in 6 hours if well ventilated and conditions are dry.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store away from heat and naked flames. Secure lid between uses to prevent paint hardening.
THINNERS
White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute can be used for thinning.
BATCH INFORMATION IMPORTANT!
We recommend ordering all the paint required in one order so you receive the same batch, Ordering on different dates will result in receiving different batches which may result in a shade difference.
This is fine if you are planning on using the different batches on different coats, However, it's not recommended to use on the same coat.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure all surfaces are sound and clean, free from dust and flaking paint.
Ensure surface is completely dry and free from condensation and damp.
Remove any loose or flaking paint.
If bare concrete is being painted it is advised a base coat of "Everest Trade polyurethane floor primer and sealer" is used to get the best results as the primer will provide a penetrating base coat for the topcoat to anchor to and to eliminate the risk of delamination.
Power floated and self levelled floors need to be etched before application of any floor paint, this can be done with an acid etching solution or using a floor grinding machine.
APPLICATION
Apply by brush, roller, conventional H.V.L.P* or airless spray*. *Anti-slip option this product is not sprayable.
Mix thoroughly before use with a paddle mixer drill attachment.
Two coats should be applied thinly and evenly to provide maximum hardness when dry and to minimise drying times. Make sure the surface is 100% dry and free from any moisture or contaminants before application.
