APPLICATION
Ensure the decking surface is clean, dry, and free from any previous coatings or debris for optimal adhesion. Apply evenly for a uniform finish, and allow sufficient drying time as per the product instructions.
Ensure the surface hasn't been treated with an oil or solvent based product previously to ensure no issues with delamination of colour bleed through.

BATCH INFORMATION
We recommend ordering all the paint required in one order so you receive the same batch, Ordering on different dates will result in receiving different batches which may result in a shade difference.
This is fine if you are planning on using the different batches on different coats, However, it's not recommended to use on the same coat.

Super fast delivery. The paint mixed well with the non slip additive and was easy to apply using a deck broom and paint sprayer.
New house our decking needed a serious repaint the old light grey was worn and bare wood. The previous owner had painted prior to selling to us. The 4 months to exchange contracts had taken its toll on the newly painted surface. So we started checking out the options. After reading several reviews and recalling some experiences from various brands, we settled on Everests Dekcoat. The ordering was simple the delivery quick. We prepped the decking with a low pressure yardbroom scrub soap wash and rinse followed by a painstaking kneeling hard bristle scrub to remove old flaky paint then sugar soap
scrub and rinse.
Decided to long fleece roller after carefully mixing in granules, despenced about a litre into a large tray, went on nicely. Left it 5hrs then gave second coat. Used 5 litre for 32 sqm two coats which is in with claimed 6 to 8 sqm coverage. Not sure if a second coat was needed but it's advised so gave the second coat. We have a smaller decking area that will have heavy foot traffic so it will get a good prep the at least 2 coats.
The shelf life of 24 months is reassuring as we will have one 5ltr over owing to the good coverage. Even if we decide giving the heavy decking a coat for winter if needed.
All in all impressed.
The paint is great but the delivery company told me it would be here Wednesday , but never got here until the Friday and said there was no one at home Wednesday and Thursday . When in fact there was and through the tracking app I saw it never left Edinburgh. So all in all , I would use premium paints again and hopefully they use a different delivery company.
After a fair while googling paint for my decking and fence surround. I found premium paints. The decking paint was the best I had ever used. Covered even the plain bare wood in one coat. I can highly recommend this stuff.

After years of using well known mainstream brands to paint our decking, they never live up to the expectations, thought we would spend a little more and found Premium Paints Decking Paint, ordering was really easy and was delivered quickly, after just one coat “Wow” decking looks brand new, we’ve given it a extra coat to be sure and even used it to revitalise a few wooden planters around the garden and we’ve still a quarter of a 5lt tin left!!
