PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Everest Trade - Industrial Grade Concrete Floor Paint is a Premium single pack,  hard-wearing, highly durable polyurethane resin-based floor paint, ideal for use in industrial areas such as warehouses, factories and industrial units due to its high build, high durability formula.

Available in an anti-slip variant which adds silica particles to provide a textured finish to improve grip and reduce the risk of slipping.

High durability against abrasion and impacts, provides better impact and abrasion resistance than the epoxy floor paints while also being much easier to apply.

It provides a tough petrol and oil resistant finish with excellent durability while also providing great tyre pluck properties good for areas with forklifts and work vehicles.

Ideal for use in large factories, industrial units, garages and on workshop floors.

MADE IN ENGLAND WITH PREMIUM RESINS.

This item is always in stock for all order sizes, fast delivery on any amount, important if you have a large area to cover.

SUITABLE SUBSTRATES
Can be used on standard concrete, metal and wood as well as most other porous substrates. Powerfloated and polished concrete floors must be ground using a floor grinder prior to application of the primer/sealer linked in the application section. Not recommended for use on self-levelling floors as they tend to be non-porous.

We recommend bare concrete floors are primed with 1 coat "Everest Trade polyurethane floor primer and sealer" to ensure good penetration and adhesion.

COLOURS AVAILABLE
Red, Blue, Black, White, Dark Grey, Grey, Light Grey, JCB Yellow, Magnolia and Green.

As well as any British standard or RAL colour for orders of 100 litres and over.
Click here for a colour chart.

SPREADING RATE (Coverage)
Approximately 5 - 7 square metres per litre, per coat. Coverage rates vary depending on surface area and porosity.

20 Litre tin = Approximately 60 M² with 2 coats.
5 Litre tin = Approximately 15 M² with 2 coats.

DRYING TIME
Under normal circumstances, it should be touch dry in 6-8 hours (at 15°C) if well ventilated and conditions are dry.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store away from heat and flames. Secure lid between uses to prevent paint hardening.

THINNERS
White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute can be used for thinning.

BATCH INFORMATION
We recommend ordering all the paint required in one order so you receive the same batch, Ordering on different dates will result in receiving different batches which may result in a shade difference.
This is fine if you are planning on using the different batches on different coats, However, it's not recommended to use on the same coat.

*only if the anti-slip option is selected.

Disclaimer: There is a small possibility that your order may be delivered in white tins with the product label applied, this is rare but can occur in times of increased demand due to the manufacturer running out of printed tins due to a large spike in sales. You can confirm this with the manufacturer.

Safety Disclaimer: This oil-based paint contains solvents and should be used in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhalation of vapours and prolonged skin contact. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Always wear appropriate protective equipment, including gloves and a mask if required. Dispose of any waste in accordance with local regulations. Keep out of reach of children. For full safety information, refer to the product’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure all surfaces are sound and clean, free from dust and flaking paint.
Ensure the surface is completely dry and free from condensation and dampness.
Remove any loose or flaking paint.

If bare concrete is being painted it is advised a base coat of "Everest Trade polyurethane floor primer and sealer" is used to get the best results as the primer will provide a penetrating base coat for the topcoat to anchor to and to eliminate the risk of delamination.

Power-floated and self-levelled floors need to be etched before application of any floor paint, this can be done with an acid etching solution or using a floor grinding machine.

APPLICATION
Apply by brush, roller, conventional H.V.L.P* or airless spray*. *Anti-slip option this product is not sprayable.

Mix thoroughly before use with a paddle mixer drill attachment.

Two coats should be applied thinly and evenly to provide maximum hardness when dry and to minimise drying times. Make sure the surface is 100% dry and free from any moisture or contaminants before application.

It is a great pleasure to have decided to go with this

It is a great pleasure to have decided to go with this.
Intentionally avoiding Epoxy resins and Screeds, I opted for this expecting a relatively poor performance but I am so pleased with the result.
The service was excellent (Thanks, Jack) and the spreadability was infinite!
Over the years, I have set up 4 big food factories using expensive materials but this is an eye opener. It may need touching up from time to time but it will still be a massive cost saving in the long run. By the way, Red was fantastic too.

Excellent quality & very durable Polyurethane floor paint

I was looking for floor paint on concrete for the garage and there are two main products on the market, epoxy resin and polyurethane paint. Even though many people find epoxy paint good, but it comes with its own draw back like mixing the two parts and apply within specific timeline and on the other hand Polyurethane paint is epoxy based and it is more durable and the finish is excellent. Once fully cured it can take hard beating and oil spillage can easily be wiped off. Preparation is the key, make sure the floor is clean and there are no oil residue left otherwise the paint will not cure and stick, Primer is very important to seal the floor.

Great product

Easy to apply, looks great - however drying time is much longer than stated. We left 24hrs between coats, it was still tacky before that.

We ordered 10l based on m2 coverage in the description and our m2 but only used 5 which is annoying.

Garage

This is the best quality paint we have used by far for our small business, our garage floor was needing a refresh, The paint went down well with a roller and we are pleased with the results. Only time will tell how well it withstands the day to day car traffic and footfall.

Great sealant and paint

Very easy to apply both and 5L of each was plenty for a newly built single garage (had around half the sealant left as only did one coat and probably 10% of paint left after two coats). The second coat of paint I applied slightly more generously and it took longer to firm up but after 48hours it was set enough to put things back in the garage and was fully cured after a week. Happy with the light grey colour too, the same as in the photo on the tin. Good prompt delivery and good value when on offer, would highly recommend.

Great Solution watch out for sediment!

This paint and primer combo is fantastic. I used it to cover a 16x6m garage and it looks show room upon drying. It was extremely easy to apply and took about 36hrs to dry @ 8c. The anti slip gives it a good but unobtrusive texture and the dark grey colour is very rich.

Note: I found that the anti slip particles in one of the tins had all sunk to the bottom and bunched up- the paddle mixer did nothing to shake them free so make sure you give it a manual scrap/stir before machine mixing.

The roller combo was worth purchasing but the pole broke with about 1m/sq left on the third coat... Everything else was great though!

Definitely happy with my purchase and would recommend this paint solution and premium paints :-)

Thank you for the review, We've recently changed the Anti-slip formula, the paint now comes with the anti-slip additive separately to avoid any issues with it falling to the bottom during transit. I was previously added immediately prior to dispatch which ensured it was 'stuck' at the bottom, worse case it would sink and could be relatively easily re-mixed into the coating. Glad you were happy with the paint and hope the update helps with any future painting decisions. - BJ

Primer/sealer and dark grey anti slip

Excellent product would highly recommend, used these on a shop floor, walk in fridge and butchery in a factory unit took a little longer to dry as it was cold in all areas. After 24 hrs it was mainly dry except the fridge area added some heat and all great. Painted the floor with a soft roller and product came up a million dollars, this replaced a cheap floor paint that had been repainted several times previously and not worked. Before priming all paint was scraped up and cleaned first. Great product

Great coverage

I think the key is good preparation. I paid careful attention to the surface preparation guides. Primer/sealer went on nicely with a sprayer and used a roller for the paint. I would advise levelling if concrete surface is very rough. The viscosity of the paint made it difficult to push into small holes and potmarks. Left to dry for 24hrs between coats.

All round very happy with the application, only time will tell on the toughness of finish, but I highly recommend at this stage.

Repainted our bakery floor with this paint, really easy to apply and great finish. 20ltrs has done 2 coats on a 750sqft unit. Woul recommend for industrial flooring.
