PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Everest Paints - Epoxy Metal Topcoat Paint is a solvent-free two-pack epoxy offering a high-performance solution for wood, metal, concrete, and most porous surfaces. This topcoat features a smooth, gloss finish and is Everest Paints' most durable topcoat, making it suitable for both internal and external use.

Formulated to cover approximately 20-25+ square meters per 5kg tin per coat, this paint ensures a coating thickness of 200 - 250 microns per coat. It is designed to be applied in two coats for optimal durability and protection against environmental factors.

With a tack-free time of 8-12 hours and a hard dry time of 12-24 hours at 20°C, this epoxy topcoat allows for overcoating within 12 - 24 hours, ensuring a quick and efficient painting process. It has a pot life of 30 minutes, remaining workable on the surface for up to 45 minutes.

Available in 8 colours, the Epoxy Metal Topcoat can be applied using a brush and roller, with cleaning up easily achieved using white spirits. This product boasts a shelf life of 24 months when kept sealed and away from frost, available in 5kg variants.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. Roughening smooth surfaces and removing loose or flaking paint is recommended for optimal adhesion.

APPLICATION
Apply with a brush and roller for a smooth, even finish. Ensure the surface is fully prepared and free from contaminants before application.

STORAGE AND SAFETY
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and frost. Keep the container sealed when not in use to preserve the shelf life of 24 months.

CLEANER / THINNERS
Clean equipment and spills with White Spirits. No thinning required for this solvent-free formula.

Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be stable, moisture-free, and clean, ensuring the removal of dust, grease, and any old, flaking paint. It's crucial that the surface is fully dry, with no signs of condensation or dampness. Any loose or flaking paint should be scraped off.

Metal surfaces may require sanding to remove rust or a primer specifically designed for metal to ensure proper adhesion. Wooden surfaces should be sanded smooth and any holes or imperfections filled and sanded.

Application Conditions:
Do not apply if the temperature is below 7°C for both the surface and the surrounding air. This ensures optimal drying and adhesion of the gloss topcoat.

Application Method:
This topcoat can be applied using a high-quality brush or roller designed for gloss paints.

Before application, stir the product thoroughly. If the product is a two-part system, mix part B into part A as directed, ensuring a consistent blend for at least 2 minutes. Once mixed, the gloss topcoat should be applied immediately to avoid thickening, as the product typically has a work time of about 30 minutes.

Apply the gloss topcoat in two coats for superior durability and finish. Note that when applying on metal, using a rust-inhibiting primer before the topcoat can enhance protection and longevity. On wood, ensure any primer used is fully dry and sanded lightly to promote adhesion.

Between coats, ensure the surface is completely dry and free from any contaminants. The use of a fresh brush or roller is recommended for the second coat to maintain a smooth, high-quality finish.

Just GET it, get it now!

I do a lot of painting and always appreciate a good product. THESE are great products.
Firstly, order and delivery was fine, though when I opened each tin and took in the delicious smell, I thought to myself ‘well that will never wash out in soapy water!’ (Both the primer and paint wash out COMPLETELY easily in soapy water, in fact some days I didn’t even bother with the soap!)
I started weeding and repointing my ugly slabs in May. Having no way of using a pressure washer, I scrubbed down them twice using plain water with a squirt of Fairy liquid. (I live on a beach so the floor gets pretty filthy, pretty quick.)
Seeing a break in the weather of ten days or more, I chose to paint this week and the whole experience was trouble free. I used one coat of Everest Trade Concrete Dustproofer/Floor Primer and two coats of Anti Slip Ultimate QD Concrete Floor Paint & Sealer in brick red.
This paint is SO easy to use. The primer looked a little flimsy at first glance, a little bit ‘meh’, but BOY does it do a good job! The paint stayed consistent to the bottom of the tin and went on wonderfully. You’ll NEED good weather and you’ll NEED a clean surface but if you’ve got both of those, all you’ll need to turn an ugly yard into a garden is these two products.
I really hope the pictures speak for themselves.

Fantastic Sealer

My Garden concrete floor was extremely dusty so I decided to use the sealer which was the best decision I have made and I have saved £££. I applied the sealer with a brush but found that using a cheap pressure sprayer was more effective and efficient.

Moreover the customer service was excellent I would most certainly recommend the product.

Wow!

We have tried everything to make our patio look nice. I then came across this paint and saw the reviews which looked to be good to be true. I can honestly say this paint is amazing! Exactly as it says on the tin!

I am a pretty seasoned DIYer and after some research on the web, and amongst those I know have painted garage floors I steered clear of those products that most likely with "domestic" use would not stand the test of time. Wearing through in walkways, tyres scuffing through the finish... I have only had this finish completed a few weeks, the rich thickness and texture indicates a solid product for what I needed...the caveat, if you could call it as such is the system itself...it proved wise for me to add the paddle stirrer and extra roller heads to the order, because the contents must be thoroughly stirred before use, a total doddle with a power drill set to slow! The rollers became disposable after each application removing the chances of spills and a pretty noxious mix having to be disposed of correctly..all in all a very bright super workspace as a result...
