Everest Trade - PremFlex Ultimate Roof Tile Paint & Sealer - High Performance is a single pack, quick-drying, low odour paint and sealer based on an advanced high-bond, acrylic polymer resin which means maximum adhesion, high durability and great, long-lasting colour retention.
As your roof ages, it will start looking dull, tired and faded. The British weather is notoriously harsh on untreated roofs, weather like rain, sleet, snow and frost will overtime make your roof less water-resistant allowing algae, lichens and moss to develop. This is where PremFlex Ultimate Roof Paint comes in, it will enhance the roof, bringing back all the lost colour, making the roof look as if it was just installed while also fully resealing and waterproofing the surface providing protection against previously mentioned algae, lichens and moss.
This paint offers damage-resilience, lasting flexibility and waterproofing. It is designed to let out water and moisture for long-term protection against the harsh conditions of the British weather, preventing weather damage for the worst the weather has to offer.
Available in a range of colours, this paint is ideal for any renovation project, or to protect roof tiles from serious damage while simultaneously restoring colour from faded tiles.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure all surfaces are sound, dry and clean, free from dust and any loose or flaking paint.
If the area has any green moss, algae or lichens, it's recommended to apply a good quality roof cleaner containing a biocide to kill the growths before application to ensure proper removal.
Then pressure wash the surface ensuring the roof is totally clean, dry and free from moss, algae or lichen spores.
Ensure surface is completely dry and free from condensation and damp before application.
COLOURS AVAILABLE
Light Grey, Battleship Grey, Charcoal Anthracite, Black, Rustic Red, Terracotta, Brown, Green and all standard RAL and BS colours if ordered in bulk.
SUITABLE SUBSTRATES
This coating is fine for use on concrete roof tiles, concrete, clay roof tiles (except rosemary tiles), cement fibre, artificial slate and asbestos sheets & tiles. This product CAN'T be used on plastic tiles.
SPREADING RATE (Coverage)
Approximately 5 - 7 square metres per litre, per coat.
DRYING TIME
Under normal circumstances, it should be touch dry in 2 - 4 hours if well ventilated and conditions are dry.
APPLICATION
Brush, roller, or airless sprayer.
Mix thoroughly before use with a paddle mixer drill attachment.
Make sure the surface is 100% dry and free from any moisture or contaminants before application.
Apply 2 thin, even coats to ensure durability.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store away from heat and flames. Secure lid between uses to prevent paint hardening.
THINNERS
Can be let down with water if needed. Not recommended unless spraying.
SURFACE PREPARATION

BATCH INFORMATION (Important)
We recommend ordering all the paint required in one order so you receive the same batch, Ordering on different dates will result in receiving different batches which may result in a shade difference.
This is fine if you are planning on using the different batches on different coats, However, it's not recommended to use on the same coat.
Disclaimer: There is a small possibility that your order may be delivered in white tins with the product label applied, this is rare but can occur in times of increased demand due to the manufacturer running out of printed tins due to a large spike in sales. You can confirm this with the manufacturer.

Brilliant stuff. Has restored my fibre cement tiles to new, and made them even stronger. All for about a 1/3rd of a tin of paint. Very pleased
My 40y old Porch needed repairing (woodwork rotted) and I discovered the tiling (Marley Ludlows) had lost all of their original colour-coating (all the surrounding properties have as well, but I happened to clean one of mine while they were down!). I wasn't sure of the original colour (appeared to be either "Dark Red" or "Smooth Brown") - I got some Terracotta to attempt a match to my adjacent Shed; that turned out to be almost orange (whereas the Shed's terracotta is rather darker). I then got a good quality black pigment and progressively darkened the paint to match the surrounding properties (less the lichen, moss and mould etc!); also added some inert grit to provide texture - it looks like I've replaced the tiles with new ones, so it's made a nice job. The paint is easy to work with (water-based) and goes on well; I'm trusting that it will last, but it will be easy enough to recoat it (I'd probably choose a different colour next time - it's difficult to match from the computer image).
As a roofer of 20 years I would never recommend this kind of thing however I did this on my own house vertical tiling and small porch and I’m really impressed with the quality and the finished jobs looks great. See pics before and after.
