PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Everest Paints presents the Ultimate Direct to Metal Paint, an oil-based gloss paint engineered for unmatched performance and durability. Made with long oil alkyd resin, this high-quality gloss finish paint is perfect for a wide range of industrial applications. Its versatility makes it suitable for both interior and exterior uses, providing a comprehensive solution for diverse coating needs.
Specifically formulated for direct application to metal, this paint offers excellent adherence and creates a protective layer that boasts anti-corrosive properties and high impact resistance. This makes it especially useful for metal surfaces prone to rust and degradation.
The paint is also suitable for wood, concrete, and most porous surfaces, underscoring its adaptability for various project requirements. Available in 16 vibrant colors, it allows for flexibility in design and application.
IDEAL FOR
Perfectly suited for metal, wood, concrete, and porous surfaces, the Ultimate Direct to Metal Paint is formulated to provide a direct, adherent, protective coating. Its anti-corrosive and high impact resistance features make it ideal for metal surfaces in need of durable protection.
APPLICATION
For best results, apply with a brush, roller, airless sprayer, or H.V.L.P sprayer. It is recommended to apply two coats. The paint dries to the touch in 6 - 8 hours at 18°C and is ready for overcoating within the same timeframe, facilitating a smooth application process.
COVERAGE
Provides a coverage rate of approximately 6 - 8 square metres per litre per coat with a coating thickness of 50 microns, ensuring efficient use of product and effective coverage on various surfaces.
STORAGE AND SAFETY
With a 24-month shelf life when stored properly and kept sealed away from frost, the paint maintains its quality over time. Equipment can be cleaned with white spirits and standard thinners, simplifying the cleanup process.
SIZES AVAILABLE
Available in 5 Litre, 20 Litre, 205 Litre, and 1000 Litre IBC sizes, catering to projects of all scales. This ensures that regardless of project size, there is a suitable option available.
NOTE ON PRIMER USE
For areas with exposed rust, applying Everest Trade - Anti-Corrosive Oxide Primer before the Ultimate Direct to Metal Paint is recommended to ensure maximum adhesion and enhance the durability of the paint on rusty metal surfaces.
Disclaimer: There is a small possibility that your order may be delivered in white tins with the product label applied, this is rare but can occur in times of increased demand due to the manufacturer running out of printed tins due to a large spike in sales.
