PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A premium two-pack, highly durable epoxy resin-based floor paint, based on a high build-solvent free epoxy resin, ideal for use in industrial areas such as warehouses, factories and industrial units due to its high build, high durability formula.
Everest Trade - HB Epoxy Factory Floor Paint - Industrial Grade is 100% solids, unlike other, cheaper water-based and solvent-based epoxies. This results in no coating thickness loss during curing helping provide a thicker, more durable coating.
Everest Trade - HB Epoxy Factory Floor Paint can improve your factory floor in terms of both strength and appearance, providing a premium gloss finish and increasing overall durability in part due to the thickness of the product, which is up to 5x thicker than other paint systems on the market and overall mechanical strength as a result of the strength of the epoxy resin itself.
High durability against abrasion, scratches and impacts as well as mechanical wear such as forklifts, pallet track and other mechanical forces.
It provides a tough petrol and oil resistant finish with excellent durability while also providing great tyre pluck properties good for areas with forklifts and work vehicles.
Ideal for use in large factories, industrial units, garages and on workshop floors.

SUITABLE SUBSTRATES
Can be used on correctly prepared (see application tab above) concrete, metal and wood as well as most other porous substrates.
Power floated and polished floors must be ground using a floor grinder prior to application of this paint with the primer/sealer.
Not recommended for use on self-levelling floors as they tend to be non-porous.
COLOURS AVAILABLE
Red, Black, White, Dark Grey, Grey, Light Grey, Yellow and Green.
As well as any British standard or RAL colour for orders of 100kg and over.

SPREADING RATE (Coverage)
A 5kg tin will cover approximately 17-20+ square meters per coat. Coverage rates vary depending on surface area and porosity.
Coverage is based on an application thickness of 430-500 microns.
DRYING/CURE TIME
We recommend you allow a minimum of 24 hours at 20°C prior to allowing foot traffic and 48 hours at 20°C prior to allowing vehicular traffic on the coated area(s). 7 days of curing at 20°C are advised prior to exposure to chemicals.
Under normal circumstances, this product will be
Tack Free Time in approximately 8-12 hours (at 20°c)
Hard Dry Time in approximately 12-24 hours (at 20°c)
Full Chemical Resistance in approximately 7 days (at 20°c)
Temperatures below 20°C will slow curing times.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
This product exhibits excellent resistance to dilute acids, alkalis and oils. Suitable for most types of industrial spills.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store away from heat and naked flames. Secure lid between uses to prevent paint hardening.
Keep away from frost.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure all surfaces are sound and clean, free from dust and flaking paint.
Ensure surface is completely dry and free from condensation and damp.
Remove any loose or flaking paint.
If bare concrete is being painted it is advised a base coat of "Everest Trade polyurethane floor primer and sealer" is used to get the best results as the primer will provide a penetrating base coat for the topcoat to anchor to and to eliminate the risk of delamination.
Power floated and self levelled floors need to be etched before application of any floor paint, this can be done with an acid etching solution or using a floor grinding machine.
APPLICATION
Apply by brush, roller, conventional H.V.L.P* or airless spray*. *Anti-slip option this product is not sprayable.
Mix thoroughly before use with a paddle mixer drill attachment.
Two coats should be applied thinly and evenly to provide maximum hardness when dry and to minimise drying times. Make sure the surface is 100% dry and free from any moisture or contaminants before application.
